A perfectly perverse, complex, and in character motivation for Sherlock's aggravating interference between Harry and John. And I've always suspected he would be a brilliant cook if it held his interest long enough. I loved the character of Grandmere, and Mycroft's underhanded gift of cooking supplies -- three moves ahead of his brother as usual.
So perfectly the spirit of Christmas, Sherlock style. It gave me fuzzies and awwws.
