Title: Son of Demeter, No Friend to Hades
Recipient: [personal profile] zaffrefic
Author: [personal profile] starfishstar
Verse: BBC Sherlock
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock/John, Moriarty
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: very brief swearing, minor violence by mythical creatures, extremely brief mention of possible (off-screen) child abuse
Summary: No, it’s not impossible, because he saw it happen before his eyes. Improbable, perhaps. Yes. But there has always been something improbable about John.
Notes:
For zaffrefic! Thanks for your extra prompts, which gave me lots to work with. I threw together Johnlock, Greek myths brought into world of Sherlock (or is it the other way round…?), John being the one who’s something “other,” defeating Moriarty, first time (erm, does just a kiss count?) – and ended up with this mash-up of mortals and gods. Thanks, too, for introducing me to the captivating music of Carolina Eyck – I don’t know that I used it directly, but I did listen a fair bit to get inspired.

Thanks to [personal profile] pipmer1, the most enthusiastic beta! And thanks to
[personal profile] arianedevere – I referred to the transcript of The Great Game a lot for this.
