Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I'm pretty easy to please! I love any story that highlights how much Sherlock and John mean to each other, whether platonic or romantic. I particularly enjoy quiet domestic moments between the two of them. I enjoy seasonal fics (Christmas, yuletide, etc.) although that isn't a requirement. I adore the 5 + 1 format, if you're inspired to do one of those.

Some of my favorite things include: stories that change just one thing in canon and then show how it changes *everything*; retirement fic; AUs such as alternate meetings, magical realism, time travel, Sherlock and/or John is a supernatural creature; pining and misunderstandings that involve angst but lead to an unambiguous happy ending.

I also adore the relationship between Sherlock and Mycroft. If you're so inspired, I would love a fic that explores that relationship more in depth. Feel free to ignore canon and create an alternate backstory for them, I would love that! Just no incest, please.


Special requests: Something that I have been meaning to write myself but as yet have not gotten around to, is a Sherlock/Ladyhawke fusion. If you're feeling particularly ambitious feel free to play around with that!

Although I am very easy to please, a few things that I DON'T particularly enjoy are: incest, genderswap, teen!lock, uni!lock. I enjoy parentlock, but would prefer no kidfic, in the sense that Sherlock and John are kids themselves. I don't mind if part of the story involves their childhood as part of a backstory, but not for the focus of the entire fic. For example, if you want to make up another backstory for Mycroft and Sherlock, I would totally dig that, as long as the focus isn't entirely on their childhoods.

As for my strengths/weaknesses when it comes to *creating* a story: I do very well with character study type fics as opposed to plot heavy or case fic. I also am not very good at writing explicit sex scenes, so you probably won't get that from me. I tend to fade to black ;)
